Back again/Aww/Thank you, Izzy!

Grampaw and I came back from our 5-day hiking/camping trip on Tuesday, the 11th. It was awesome!! We ate wild blueberries, strawberries, and thimbleberries. We stayed at Lake Richie, Moskey Basin, Daisy Farm, Threemile, and Rock Harbor Lodge. We had so much fun!

Also, just a few minutes ago, Mikenstein was sitting on the coffee table. Then, he jumped on the couch, curled up next to me, rolled over onto his back, and started purring. I gave him belly rubs and he almost seemed to smile at me. Such a sweetiepie.

Another thing. Izzy was sitting on level 3 of MIW Mountain (the cat condo) , but she was kinda lying on the edge. I was about to scoot her over when she scooted up and turned around herself. Silly girl.

Whew, we travel A LOT! Mikey and Izzy's Grampaw and I are headed to Isle Royale for about a week. Golly, the 'kids' must be wondering why we go bye-bye so much!

The Kitteh Tower Is Here!

A long, long time ago,
I can still remember,
When those posts
Never made me smile.
But I knew that there was a chance,

But good old July made me shiver,

Woah...You're HOME!!!

Translation of what M and I were saying on Monday night:

Mikey: "Hey, Izzy, I hear something!"
Izzy: "What do you think it is?"
Mikey: "It sounds like the garage, you know?"
Izzy: "You're right, it does!"
[I come running in]
Mikey and Izzy (at the same time): "MEOWMA!!!!!!!!!!!"
Me: "Aw, hey guys! I missed you so much!"
Mikey and Izzy (at the same time): "We missed you too, Meowma!"

So, yes. Grameow and I came home late Monday night. We survived our 3-week travel, going to Illinois, Nevada, Utah, and Colorado! Whew! Now we are just resting and catching up on sleep. We had a fun time, but it is good to be home.

Sweet Story

Today I would like to share a cute story of Mikey.

Once upon a time in a far away kingdom called MIW (Mikey and Izzy's World), there was a queen. This queen was known as 'Meowma' to Prince Michael and Princess Isabel. But there were others in this land. One of these others was King Vacs. King Vacs was not appreciated by the prince and princess. They scurried to hide every time they saw him. But one day, Prince Mikey found the power of Meowma and cuddles. He was in the palace when suddenly King Vacs arrived. He was frightened. He gave a startled look to Meowma, who was nearby. He climbed into her arms and snuggled up, at which point he started purring like a motor. A smile grew across Meowma's face as she told him with truth, "Oh, Mikey. I love you." And they all lived happily ever after.
The End.

This is basically a true story. Our cleaner started vacuuming one day, and Mikey was on the cat condo. Of course he got scared. Then he cuddled up in my arms and purred like a motor.☺♥✿

So Different, Yet So Similar

If you have multiple cats, you may have noticed that one may "copy" another. Often they even do it at the same exact time or very close to the same.

As you know, Mikey and Izzy hardly look alike. Mikey is a tuxedo, whereas Izzy is a brown tabby. But sometimes, they like being, well, I guess "copycats" is the best word to use! Here's an example.
